UX. We dive deeply into the client’s business and work closely with key stakeholders to identify issues and determine ways of resolving them.

1. UX research

We analyze business processes and the product application context by scrupulously collecting data about users’ motivation, goals, and expectations.

1.1. Business and market research

We help identify and define business requirements. We analyze the market and the product application context. We research competitors and their products.

1.2. Target audience research

We interview users to reveal their actual usage patterns, incentives, and struggles when working with competitors’ products. This information is then taken into account during the product design stage or for improving the current version of the product.

1.3. Character creation

We analyze the behavioral patterns, habits, preferences, and needs of the target audience. We single out cohorts and create user portraits.

2. Information architecture

We design the information architecture and navigation. We determine what information is the most important for users by studying their habits and expectations regarding the location of content blocks. We design the content structure and the menus in a way that enables users to find the necessary items quickly and easily.

2.1. Project mind map

We create a mind map with a set of product features and capabilities. The map facilitates the exchange of information between business and the UX team, thus minimizing discrepancies between the parties.

2.2. Customer Journey Map

We analyze the entire possible customer journey within the product and find inconsistencies and issues. Based on our findings, we offer recommendations on helping users to transition from one step to another without a negative experience.

2.3. User flow

We determine how the user accomplishes their task using the interface, what actions and transitions are used for that. We create a map of user flows and design transitions across screens and interface blocks, specifying user actions, potential issues, and optimal solutions on each screen and in every block.

Result: information architecture of the project

3. Prototypes

We create interactive prototypes.

3.1. Conceptual (Preliminary) prototype

We create a low-detail prototype and the logic of transitions between interface sections and blocks, then schematically show the location of key blocks and elements (content blocks) on screens. This prototype helps ensure that all project parties understand the logic of user-product interactions in the same way.

3.2. Detailed prototype

We develop detailed and interactive prototypes demonstrating the location of content blocks on screens with great accuracy, including text, illustrations, menu buttons, and other elements.

If necessary, we add interactivity to the prototype. An interactive prototype supports navigation between screens, pressable buttons, and realistic user flows.

Detailed prototypes are used for usability testing and demonstrating the interface logic to developers in addition to the functional specification.

4. UX audit

An expert interface assessment allowing our clients to quickly get an independent professional opinion about the quality of their design, learn about its shortcomings, and get improvement recommendations.

We identify the goals and needs of the client in terms of interface design. We expertly assess it and highlight areas for improvement.

“Lepshey Studio consistently shows careful attitude towards each joint project. All the work is done quickly and in the organised manner. It is crucially important for our company that though each time the work is done in a very limited time, the number of iterations is reduced to the minimum. This reduces the cost of process management from our side. All comments are processed practically in the real time mode.”
